In the beginning of the 24 Day Challenge I
had already been losing the extra pounds I had gained over the winter due to a
foot surgery that had kept me from my running. The excitement of moving the
scale in the right direction and the fact that my clothes were starting to fit
me nicely again motivated me to keep going. I have found that working with a
life-wellness coach helped me to stay accountable and on target when I slipped
a little in the wrong direction.
What was tough is that I didn't have a lot of weight to loose, so it seemed
harder to take off those last 5 pounds. I would step on the scale and see a
weight loss. Then a few days later it would creep back up. But by 2 weeks
into the challenge I started to see a loss in inches and body fat! The cravings
for sugar and carbs lessened as I applied the supplements, vitamins and worked
out with free weights.
I'm treating this 24 Day
Challenge as a life style change. The good news is I'm still on target to reach
my goal. I'll continue to live my life with celebrations, setbacks and great
days!!! I have the tools to keep me on track, even if I go over a little.

Recently
I participated in the 24 Day Challenge.
I
knew I needed to make changes and had heard from my trainer Chris Geisling for
some time that nutrition was the key. I hoped it would not be time consuming or
difficult to follow.
It
was easier than expected. After the kickoff meeting I was given the packet and
supplies for the 24 days. The workbook provided a very easy step by step guide
of what to eat and when to eat.
I
was amazed that I was able to lose 8 pounds in 3 days without feeling weak
but actually feeling more energized!
